Cons: Not particularly fast, slick, or responsive.

Cons: Can get expensive for small businesses. No mobile apps; mobile-optimized website only. No chat app or other bonus communication tools. Site could be easier to navigate.

Podio’s workflows allow for what-if scenarios; workspaces are used to manage projects and connect people and can be set as private, open or employee only.

Pros: Extremely flexible and customizable. Excellent apps market. Scales easily for a growing business. Very user-friendly.

Cons: Lacks time-tracking tool. No PDF or image markup tools. Free account somewhat limited.

Trello accommodates individuals, as well small and medium-size businesses and been made available on Android & iOS platforms.

Pros: Simple, lightweight project management app. Very visual. Plenty of mobile apps. Inexpensive. Supported by Zapier.

Cons: Light on features. No real reporting tools. No Gantt charts, time tracking features, or billing.
